11 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Book Signing featuring Al Rendón
Well-known for his portraits of Selena, Rock & Roll concerts and Charreada competitors, Al Rendón has photographed Tejano culture in South Texas for decades. Purchase your copy of his book, Mi Cultura—Bringing Shadows Into the Light: The Photography of Al Rendón, engage with Rendón and experience the retrospective exhibition of his 50-year career.
1:15 – 3 p.m.: Live Music by the Tuesday Musical Club and Agarita Humble Hall
Young artists from the Tuesday Musical Club will begin the show at 1:15 p.m., followed by a performance by Agarita Humble Hall at 2 p.m. The Agarita Humble Hall brings live, world-class, innovative musical performances to San Antonio. An innovative chamber ensemble dedicated to producing bold, collaborative musical events, Agarita offers a new way to experience classical and contemporary music.
