What is a bearing, and how does it help us find our way?
Inspired by the special exhibition Explore Your World, this family-friendly, hands-on workshop explores the math and science of navigation. You’ll discover how compasses work as you complete challenges to find your way at the Witte Museum.
Cost: $8 (non-member) / $6 (member) + Museum Admission
Important Information:
- Advanced registration is required. Participation in this event requires Witte Museum general admission (sold separately), plus STEAM Sunday ticket for each participant.
- Purchase includes all supplies needed for interactive workshop and collectible button.
- Non-participating family members are welcome (space permitting) and do not need to purchase a ticket.
- Recommended for all ages over 5.
- Program runs approximately 45-60 minutes.
- STEAM Sunday ticket sales close one hour before the program begins.
