Bring your family to join the Witte family during the Dinosaur Family Reunion! Explore the two special exhibitions, Tyrannosaurs: Meet the Family and Antarctic Dinosaurs, and visit our Super Saturday Dinosaur Family Reunion booths set up around the museum.
Engage with experts, learn how paleontologists transport fossils down a mountain, use tracks to determine the approximate height of a dinosaur, create dinosaur art and meet paleontologist Dr. Thomas Adams.
FOSSIL IDENTIFICATION: 1 – 3 p.m.
Have you ever wondered if you may have found a fossil? During the Dinosaur Family Reunion, the Witte’s own paleontologist, Dr. Thomas Adams, will be on hand to help identify your findings!
How do I prepare for identification? Bring as much information (location found, etc.) on your discovery as possible. Please limit of one specimen per person to allow everyone an opportunity.
Identifications are for educational purposes only. The Witte Museum does not provide authentications or appraisals for monetary (market) value or for legal purposes.
